FIR Labour Relations Ltd., is the Sponsor of the Coastal Forest Industry's Health & Welfare, Dental and EHC Benefit plans. FIR's accredited companies all participate in these plans and companies which are not accreditated member of FIR may participate in the Plans as "FIR Benefits Only Member Companies."

A "FIR Benefits Only Employer" agrees to participate in each of the three Plans ( H&W, Dental and EHC ) and to pay a 3.25% administration fee based on the monthly premiums for these Plans". "Benefit Only" memberships can be terminated, by either FIRLR or the employer by providing three months written notice of termination.
